What is your favorite thing about working with Fully Accountable?

Everybody at Fully Accountable is a dream to work with, and they’re super responsive. It’s like having both a board of advisors and an accountant. I reach out to them monthly, if not daily, on strategy and advice not only on tax planning, but on how to run the business. They help with HR, legal, and raising capital… It’s full service.

How has adding Fully Accountable to your team helped your business?

The toughest part of my job now is staying out of the details. I used to have my hands in everything and in a sense that created a struggle because my business could only grow as much as I could see. I needed to learn to let go.

The main problem that led us to Fully Accountable was not having any robust accounting and reporting systems. We were having the accounting done at the end of the year by our CPA. Then we’d get hit with a big tax bill we weren’t ready for. We didn’t have a lot of clarity on the performance throughout the year. Making decisions using intuition as opposed to tangible metrics was kind of like throwing a dart at a wall. So we just continued to struggle and it wasn’t until we connected with Fully Accountable that we had intelligence applied to our financial systems. So it grew from blindness and frustration to clarity and ease.

The main tool I use is the daily snapshot. It allows me to take action and discuss with each of the department heads right away. The monthly report is like a navigational compass. We’re looking at it on a macro level like, “where is my company headed?” So the daily snapshot is an estimated bottom line, and the monthly report gives a good picture of the true performance of the company. So now, my day consists of evaluating the high priority tasks and trusting in my team to make the right decisions. Fully Accountable goes way above and beyond. They have our best interest in mind. There’s no doubt about it.
