How has adding Fully Accountable to your team helped your business?
We really needed better tracking and analysis of expenses and return on spending. I think that’s been the biggest thing with the fractional CFO, and Corey in particular. Corey presents us a variety of different business cases and helps us analyze our data which has helped us run more efficiently as a business. Without that, I don’t think we would be able to get to the size that we’re at right now, without question.
I feel more comfortable with a lot of the financial decisions than what I was making on my own. Now I have a group of people that help me with those financial decisions as well as make sure that the money flows where it needs to. That’s the most important thing. So, the bookkeeping side for us has been hugely helpful and the fractional CFO side of it helps me make those decisions. Having someone who is keeping an eye on revenue and expenses is really amazing to have. I can’t imagine us growing to this level without it, quite honestly.
I think Corey really empowers me to make really good financial decisions. He’s got experience through other businesses, which I think makes him a better CFO.
What is your favorite thing about working with Fully Accountable?
Your service in general is one of those things that I don’t have to worry about. The CFO side of the equation has brought maturity to our business. Five years ago, we probably didn’t need it – I was making all of those decisions, but now we need to be very judicious how we spend that money and also we need to track the stuff that’s coming in and make sure that we’re collecting.
For me, it’s just peace of mind. I trust the team from Fully Accountable inherently and that’s just been a godsend for us. We needed a CFO and a bookkeeper, but I didn’t need to add significant payroll for either one of those. I just needed the expertise when I needed it. I think that’s been the ideal solution for us.
