What is your favorite thing about working with Fully Accountable?

One word is clarity. Prior to using Fully Accountable, we went with what was left in our Wells Fargo account and a little bit of gut reaction. A lot of our decisions were based on emotion and not data. We weren’t tracking anything. I was honestly just kind of guessing. So to me, it’s knowing exactly where we are, where we stand at any given day.

I never had any clue if we had a negative or an awesome day. Now, I have complete transparency on exactly where we are. Dialing down every one of our expenses on any given day with one final number. Profit to me is one of the biggest ones because if we have profit we’re able to grow and are ultimately able to make a bigger impact.

We have Lorena and she is asking some really good questions. Lorena is calling us and setting up Zoom conferences and she’s like, “Hey, have you guys thought about this?” Or, “are you planning on giving bonuses this year?” Or, “do you plan on giving to charities? Let’s bring that into the mix so that we’re not having some crazy numbers on the ledger at the end of the year or end of the quarter.”

How has adding Fully Accountable to your team helped your business?

I’d say being able to look at the end-of-day profit is particularly helpful. That’s something we have never done. We were looking at it on a quarterly basis and now, I’m getting to see how profitable we are on a daily basis. I’ve been able to step back a little bit more and not have to work so much on the day to day. It comes to me consistently, every single day. I know where to see my numbers for the prior day, week, month, and quarter and that has just been invaluable to me.

Having someone who knows what we’re going through and works with companies like ours has been game changing. It’s like having a real teammate, not just some CPA crunching numbers.

We have made sound decisions for the first time. Every month we’re looking at the month prior and we’re able to gauge where we should have been or where we were ahead of things. We’ve been in business for 5 years, and this is the first time we’ve actually had a budget, which seems absolutely crazy. I think so many entrepreneurs just wing it. So having all of these numbers at our fingertips that aren’t just guesses is invaluable.
