How has adding Fully Accountable to your team helped your business?
One of our biggest challenges was that my partner Rachel, who was on all the finances in our company forever, was getting overwhelmed and was not able to keep up with everything. I wasn’t getting enough data or information to make good decisions, and our budgeting and financial control systems that I built were no longer functional at the size that we were at. It was starting to have some pretty big holes.
What is your favorite thing about working with Fully Accountable?
Working with Fully Accountable has been really smooth because Mollie came out and explained the whole process and has been accessible through it all. It’s been a nice balance of working at our pace but also pushing for the next steps on the objectives we need to hit. It’s been really clear communication and we’ve had a really good interaction with everyone. You guys all have the same tone, demeanor, and approach. It’s been really consistent culturally.
One thing that’s made me happiest is getting better data and real-time reporting and not having to produce that internally. Taking all the pressure off of Rachel has been really nice. The other thing is I really like having access to Pat, our CFO.
I was honestly surprised that you guys were all as nice as Vinnie. The culture part is the most surprising to me… That’s what we aim for on our team. Also, I’ve been really surprised and pleased with the customer experience. It’s been the same experience with whomever I talk to of showing up and serving. It’s been amazing to see that, especially in an industry where people are kind of crotchety.
